Hi Bridgeford

Glad to have you aboard. I was very lucky with my scanner (an Epson 1670) it worked without even installing the original driver ... much to my surprise!! Unfortunately, MikeT and I have had no luck getting our sheet fed Fujitsu to work at all so I know where you're coming from.

If you're having no luck with Parallels why not give VMWare Fusion a go - there's a trial version available. I've used Parallels since I got my Mac but I also bought Fusion during a promotion and it seems to be even faster for me than Parallels, it also seems that the Windows installation on Fusion needs reactivating a lot less than the Windows installation on Parallels.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your podcasts. I've recently moved over to a mac myself (2 months ago) and am enjoying it except for one or two week problems - I need an updated driver for my HP3800 scanner and I would love to get Publisher (dont groan) to work. Have tried Parallels but cant get windows to activate properly - twas ever thus!
