Another day another iPhone. This time the iPhone 5. Smaller, lighter, faster, and probably more expensive too! This event also saw the introduction of the Lightning connector. iOS 6 was also covered and some updates to iTunes too.

To be honest TOTALLY bored with idea of new iPhone. To even remotely interest me the new phone will have to be a revelation; I do not believe it will be. Rumours of huge update to iTunes is very welcome. Would love to see a major Aperture upgrade but it won`t happen! iWork will be updated but it will only be minor tweaks. To be honest I have more interest in the forthcoming Photokina that has some very interesting new kit to be announced. Wireless transfer of images to iPhone/iPad via a cheap small Nikon module that sits on the camera for some new cameras sounds great. Airplay that to your Apple TV driven monitor! The new D600 set to be low price entry into FF, & some new Lens. Anyway will tune in as always! Not wildly excited I have to say. Hope Apple prove me wrong, but I think the chance of that happening again withered with the loss of Steve Jobs

But what final made me go for the iPhone again was simply the ability to sync all, and the investment in apps. Why the white version? Well, I felt the black version looked like a Chinese knock-off but the white version matched all my Apple products, with the exception of the apple tv. Aye…
