Glad to hear to your bits on switching and I always found cmd &tab a pain to use, I also tried Quicksilver but found it a little cumbersome. So I just use spotlight as an App Starter, or is that Fire Starter, and put up with cmd & tab but now I could try one of the other options.
Anyway’s thanks for the shout out, if it’s not to cheeky can I do a shout out for a section I do for a podcast called For Mac Eyes Only (FMEO) a show by Michael Potter over at http://formaceyesonly.blogspot.com/
My section is called News and Views from Across the Pond!
Keep up the great work. And don’t be scared about being spontanteous 🙂
I too use Omnifocus and would really love to see a version on the iPhone. Great productivity tool. Will also try liteswich and witch too. Cheers for the tips
Steve
Hello,
Have you tried Spotlight? I used Quicksilver before upgrading to Leopard. Now ,to launch a application I just open Spotlight and after a few keys and enter, the application launches!
Cheers from bonny Scotland, Macjim.
Good to have you back
Hi Steve
Good to have you onboard at MacBites!
Just make sure you set the shortcut keys properly in Witch – see Ep 11 for full story!
Only 3 weeks to the iPhone launch. Have you got one already?
Hi Guys and welcome aboard Steve
Got to agree I can’t wait for both an iPhone and OmniFocus.
Yes macjim I too use Spotlight for app launching whenever I’m on a Mac without Quicksilver.
Nice to hear you Gazmaz on FMEO, I hadn’t heard that podcast before but I went off in search of it especially to hear your bit … how’s that for dedication 😉
