Elaine,
The first step to recovery, is admitting you have a problem, I believe the term is ‘softwarealitus’.
Anyway, I have only just had a chance to listen to the latest 2 episodes, as my MacBook’s hard-drive…died!
It wouldn’t mount, and had to take it to any Apple store to get a new drive fitted, so I haven’t been able to catch up on my podcasts, until recently.
Thanks for my huge plug on the end of episode 11 ( I think ).
Anyway, in reference to your discussion about Audio editing, for my podcast, I have to duplicate the tracks so it goes through both ears, because my audio records into mono, for some reason, for this I use Audacity and just split the stereo tracks, and copy the main one down.
The hard part is syncing the audio up with the video in Final Cut, since I’m in not in Hollywood, I can’t justify a clapper board 😛
Anyway, thanks for reading my essay, looking forward to the next episode,
Jack
ooohh can’t wait for iPhone 2 software, looking forward to playing MonkeyBall too. Loving the blog and podcast – keep up the good work
Thanks for the audio stuff. Audial Hub sounds just what I need. Got the trial and will definitely be buying it.
Looks straight forward but would be good if you guys could make a short video tutorial? Give us newbies the benefit of your experience
