You mentioned Get iPlayer Automator requiring a proxy when using it outside the UK. Well, as you know, until earlier this year I lived in Australia and I used Get iPlayer Automator regularly to download BBC programmes from UK. I didn’t use a proxy and was able to access the BBC programmes successfully. There were minor hiccups occasionally but on the whole the app worked very well for me in Australia.
Of course now that I’m in the UK I have access to the wonderful BBC iPlayer app on my iPad enabling me to watch tv while practicing my extreme ironing duties in whichever room takes my fancy! 😉
Whit? Surely no in the bathroom Jane. It’s a wee bit sma’ fur an ironin’ table is it no?
