Another great show! So pleased to hear the news of the upcoming BusyContacts app from those fab BusyMac guys. The ridiculous convoluted efforts that you have to go to at the moment to sync Apples’s Contacts with another iCloud user will become a distant memory I hope.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s MacBites show! How often can I say that?!!
Cheers

Mail clients! Don’t get me started!
I shall have to have another look at Airmail, and I’ve been meaning to check out MailPilot too.
But a prize to anyone who can find any Mac email client that knows how to thread emails properly. I had one written by a friend on my Acorn Archimedes in the early 90s but the world of email clients seems to have regressed since then.
Proper threading? Two emails with the same subject are *not* a thread (or “conversation”). I receive numerous newsletter and notification emails that fall into this silly trap. An email and it’s reply or forward – even if the subject line is changed – *are* a thread.
On the subject of emails not being used as the reminders themselves: perhaps it’s not ‘proper GTD’ but I personally use exactly that method and I have described why at the link I have given for this comment.
