I’ve been listening to MacBites since mid’ 2008, but have listened to all the episodes so far produced. Originally there were three presenters of this podcast, but for personal reasons one of the original three had to step aside after episode #6. I did miss MikeB following his departure, he was especially fond of the then new iPhone, which the remaining two presenters were to later learn to love, as we all have done. These podcasts are intended to inform listeners on news in the Apple world, especially new hardware and software releases. The presenters, who are very enthusiastic of Apple hardware and software, put across their personal views of the new releases. I for one, consider their views on new software very informative, if there are problems with new releases then you can be sure that they will quickly locate these problems. Interwoven throughout each episode the presenters inject their UK wit and humor, which gives MacBites a unique charm.
One of the other reviewers mentions that he/she wished the release of episodes were on a more regular basis. Now, hang on a minute, the presenters are two busy people and produce this podcast in their own time for us to listen to and enjoy, not forgetting they don’t receive any remuneration for their efforts. There are always reasons why gaps in the schedule appear, these most probably being due to; not enough time, either presenter not being available, illness etc,… I personally don’t mind the gaps in the schedules as I understand the reason for such gaps. If you have yet to listen to any MacBites episodes, I suggest you listen to a few, if you like them then carry on listening, if not, just move on. No one is forcing you to listen, it’s up to you.
